# Kooper AI

> Kooper AI builds private, safe generative AI for illustration. It hosts and optimizes leading open image, language, voice and safety models on infrastructure it operates, so customers' manuscripts, prompts and pictures never go to an outside AI service, and it checks every prompt and every picture for safety before anyone sees it.

Kooper AI's first product is Hello Kooper, a reading app. It also offers Kooper Press for publishers and services for brands and teams.

- [A GPU host failed. The fix was a driver version.](https://kooper.ai/blog/gpu-host-failure-tensorrt-driver.md): After a GPU host fault, our compiled TensorRT engines refused to load: the failure you get when a host's NVIDIA driver branch differs from the one the engines were built on. We recovered by starting a new pod on a host with the right branch (580, CUDA 13), which took a little over an hour because those GPUs were briefly out of stock. The lesson: a TensorRT engine is tied to its driver branch, so version the two together.
